From 1837 on, all but four of the executions listed are for murder.  The four are for attempted murder which remained 
a capital crime upto 1861.
A total of 350 people were hanged in public over this 32 year period, comprising 318 men and 32 women.
Ages where known are from newspaper reports and should be considered as a guide.
